Hi, I'm Melissa Car
I am a seeker and an intellectual with a passion for discovery and growth. With a PhD and my role as the head of the fashion department at Dominican University, I've spent years immersed in creativity and academia. Recently, I expanded my journey by earning my yoga certification and delving into crystal bowl healing and breathwork, completing a certification in Portugal. This blend of experiences has prepared me for an exciting new chapter in my life.
My Journey
My path has always been fueled by curiosity and a desire for connection. I founded Evil Eye Sanctuary and established a retreat center in San Pancho, Mexico, where I now host women’s retreats that focus on building community and fostering growth. My work is grounded in the principles of Positivity, Peace, and Protection, and I’m dedicated to creating spaces where women can come together, have fun, and explore shared passions.
My Vision
I’m excited to expand my retreat work globally, bringing together didi (honorable sister) communities for experiences that inspire, uplift, and connect. Through yoga, healing practices, and shared moments of joy, I aim to create meaningful gatherings where women can find support and build lasting bonds.
