  • What is included in the retreat package?
Our retreat package includes transportation RT from Puerto Vallarta airport to the hacienda, 2-3 meals daily, snacks, cocktails with meals prepared by our house chef Carla and accommodations in our luxurious suites. Your guests will also receive a welcome gift and little didi glimmers throughout your stay.
  • What kind of leaders/coaches show up at Didi retreats?
At Didi Yoga Retreats, we are honored to host a diverse range of leaders and coaches who are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for their guests. These individuals are particularly drawn to our retreats because they seek a luxurious and harmonious environment where they can foster community and connection. Our leaders and coaches are committed to co-creating experiences that emphasize female empowerment, plant-based lifestyles, and intentional wellness practices. This alignment ensures that every retreat at Didi is not only rejuvenating but also deeply enriching for all participants.
  • What should I bring to the retreat?
We recommend bringing comfortable yoga clothing, sturdy hiking shoes, swimwear, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen), and personal care items. Don't forget a reusable water bottle, journal, and any additional items that help you relax.
  • What is the refund policy for deposits and fees?
We know that life happens and plans change, so we aim to keep our refund policy simple, flexible, and easy to understand. Here’s how it works: Deposit To secure your spot, we require a $2,500 refundable deposit if given 60 plus days in advance Payment in Full Retreat payments are due in two payments. 50% 60 days before the start date and final 50% at 30 days before start date If We Need to Cancel In the event that we have to cancel due to a pandemic, natural disaster, or low registrations, we’ll issue a full refund of all payments, including the deposit. However, we can’t cover airline tickets, change fees, or other travel costs, so we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel Insurance Reminder We urge you to consider travel insurance to protect your investment. Each year, at least one participant needs to cancel, and without insurance, that can lead to a significant loss. We hope this keeps the process easy, clear, and as stress-free as your retreat!
  • How do I get to retreat house from the airport?
We offer complimentary airport transfers to the house from Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) at designated times on arrival days and departure days.
  • Are meals provided during the retreat?
Yes, we provide 2-3 daily meals and snacks that celebrate traditional local cuisine with a vegetarian-forward approach. Meals are prepared by our talented house chef and include packed lunches for day hikes. Gluten Free and vegan options are always available. Other dietary restrictions should be communicated directly to team to accommodate any allergies.

  • What makes Didi Retreats unique?
At Didi Retreats, our approach is collaborative, respectful, and—most importantly—fun! We’re a fresh company that values input and keeps our programs flexible and approachable, so you get to shape your own experience. Each retreat is grounded in our core elements—yoga, water, hiking, and breathwork—but we’re not prescriptive or overly serious. We believe that connection, self-discovery, and a good laugh are essential parts of any journey. Whether you’re a yoga newbie or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll find a welcoming space here, where adventure meets relaxation, and everyone can participate in a way that feels authentic.
  • Is there free time during the retreat?
Absolutely! We include designated free time for you to relax by the pool, explore the nearby town, or enjoy personal reflection and leisure activities. All activities are always optional.
  • What types of yoga will be offered?
Our retreat features a variety of yoga styles, including energizing morning flows and calming evening sessions. Each class is designed to accommodate all levels, ensuring a supportive environment for everyone. Kira Maar practices mostly Anusara Yoga which is a style of hatha yoga that emphasizes heart-centered practice, precise alignment, and community. Created in 1997, it blends physical postures with uplifting themes and Tantric philosophy, aiming to help practitioners align their bodies while embracing their inner goodness. Anusara classes focus on Universal Principles of Alignment, making it ideal for those who want a supportive, spiritually-minded practice that connects body and mind.
  • Can I participate if I’m new to yoga?
Yes! Our retreats are open to all levels, including beginners. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each practice, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported.
  • What is the weather like in August in Copenhagen and Greenland?
In August, Greenland experiences some of its mildest and most accessible weather. Temperatures generally range from 5°C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F), but they can occasionally reach up to 15°C (59°F) in coastal areas. The days are long, with extended daylight hours, and conditions are typically cool, with brisk winds and occasional rain. In southern Greenland, it can be slightly warmer and wetter, while areas farther north or at higher altitudes may still feel quite chilly. August is also one of the best months for outdoor activities like hiking and sailing, as the weather is relatively stable and accessible for travelers. At the end of August, Copenhagen typically enjoys mild late-summer weather with average daytime temperatures around 18°C to 20°C (64°F to 68°F) and nighttime lows around 12°C to 14°C (54°F to 57°F). There’s a blend of sunshine and clouds, with some days of light rain, as August is one of Copenhagen’s wetter months. Humidity is generally moderate, and daylight hours are still ample, with around 14 hours of light, giving you plenty of time to explore the city comfortably. A light jacket or sweater is usually sufficient for cooler evenings.
  • How do I sign up and pay for the retreat?
To secure your spot, each retreat guest must complete a registration form. At the end of the form, you’ll find a payment link. You can choose to make a $500 deposit or pay the full retreat amount.
